"Handled my old protected DVDs, but I’m still a bit unsure"
I had a few older DVDs with copy protection, and it actually read them without much trouble. Setup was simple enough and I haven’t run into any weird errors yet. That said, I’m still not totally sure how well it’ll hold up over time, but so far it’s been fine

"Pretty solid video quality, honestly"
I tried macxdvd.com to convert a few videos, the results were good. The picture stayed clear, and the colors looked normal, which is more than I can say for some other tools I’ve used. Isn’t it annoying when converted videos come out looking washed out or just plain weird? One of my files did have a tiny bit of blur during fast-moving scenes, but was it a dealbreaker? Not for me. Overall, I’m happy with how the videos turned out, even if it wasn’t absolutely perfect...

"Got it done, but felt a bit impersonal"
The site was easy enough to use overall, but a few of the buttons were confusing at first and I had to spend extra time figuring things out. I did get what I needed done in the end, but the whole experience felt a little impersonal, like I was just a ticket number moving through the system.

I tried it out with a few DVDs and the whole process was really easy from start to finish. The converted files came out looking really close to the originals, and the subtitles and audio stayed perfectly in sync, which was what I was most worried about. No weird cuts, no messy quality issues, just a smooth conversion that worked better than I expected.

"The updates actually fixed it"
I don’t know why people make such a big deal about updates sometimes. Mine came through quickly and fixed the annoying bug I’d been dealing with, without me having to jump through hoops

"Solid format support and easy to use"
I tried it with a few DVD rips plus some MP4, MOV, and AVI videos, and it handled pretty much everything without a fuss. One odd file acted up and needed a retry, but my gut says that was more about the file than the software. Overall, I’d trust it for everyday video stuff

"Worth it for what I needed"
I went with macxdvd mainly because I didn’t want to spend more than I had to, and the price felt reasonable compared to the other options I looked at. For my needs, it gets the job done without making me feel like I overpaid. It’s not flawless, but for what I wanted out of it, I’m happy with the value.

"Stable for long DVD jobs on my Mac"
I’ve been using macxdvd for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been dependable on my Mac. What I appreciated most is that it handled longer DVD tasks without crashing halfway through, which was my main concern. It also launches quickly most of the time and the settings are easy enough to adjust once you know where everything is. I did have one freeze when I was switching between options too quickly and had to restart the app, so it’s not flawless. But for regular use, it’s been solid and reliable enough for me.

"Installed without any hassle"
I downloaded it from MacX DVD Ripper and the whole install was smooth. You don’t get any weird popups or confusing steps, just run through the installer and it opens right up after. Took maybe a couple minutes on my laptop. I haven’t had any issues so far, so yeah, happy with it.

I’m usually a bit skeptical when companies say their support is “fast” or “always here to help,” because that stuff usually sounds like marketing fluff. But in this case, they did get back to me quickly and helped me fix the issue without making it a big ordeal.

"Great if you want quick DVD rips"
I’ve been using it to rip some old DVDs, it’s been really fast. If you’ve got a stack of discs you’ve been meaning to back up, this is worth trying out. Just make sure your drive is in good shape too, because that can affect the speed.
